so...it's been over a year now. apparently I'm not too good at keeping this up. however, i am going to try to keep this up more or less as a form of a journal. i'm terrible at journals and this will be my feeble attempt.
so, since last july lots has happened. i have since passed two more checkrides for my instrument rating and my multi-engine rating. both were pressure packed but both went relatively well. i'll now be working on my commercial and CFI ratings. pretty sweet and we're making some good progress. i can't tell you the amazing things you can see from the sky. you know it is kind of boring looking when you're in a commercial jet, but when you're the one at the controls it's so much different. the joy that being in the air brings is overwhelming and i am incredibly lucky to be doing this now and in the future. if anyone really wants to i'll have to take them for a rid sometime soon.
hollie is almost done with school. less than a month and she will be a graduate of BYU in the Dance program. props to her and the effort she has put in to get this done. she has worked hard and now that work will pay off. she'll soon be out of a job, so she has a lot of work ahead to get her project done and get a new job. but she'll be fine.
other than that life is pretty much normal. we are still plugging along and living the married student life and enjoying the majority of it. everything has its ups and downs but all-in-all life has been enjoyable.
